About the event

Most execution problems start long before anyone is asked to deliver. They're born when a strategy gets translated into work: teams build the same thing twice, initiatives pull in opposite directions, and progress reports track activity while the value never shows up. With 2027 planning underway, Whynde Kuehn and Cascade's Alex Lee bring two views of that problem, one from designing how organizations execute and the other from working alongside leadership teams as they put plans into practice. Together they'll talk through how to translate strategy into the work that delivers it, and how to realign what's already in motion.

Build the Execution Muscle

We'll look at why strategy to execution deserves to run as a function in its own right, with clear ownership and real accountability for value. We'll also get into what changes once it's no longer scattered across teams.

Translate Strategy Into Capabilities

We'll get into how a view of the whole business shows which parts need to change to deliver the strategy, down to the everyday capabilities, and how that shapes the initiatives you choose to fund next year.

Realign What's Already Moving

Founder and Managing Director
Whynde is the founder and managing director of S2E Transformation, a global consulting practice that helps organizations bridge the gap between strategy and execution. She has worked with Fortune 500 and global enterprises, government and nonprofit organizations, and startups to build their capacity for end-to-end strategy execution. She has decades of experience in enterprise change and strategic planning, including leading large-scale transformations. She is the author of Strategy to Reality, co-author of The Execution Challenge, and co-founder of the Business Architecture Guild.
Alex Lee
Chief Customer Officer
Alex is a revenue growth and delivery executive with a proven track record of scaling a FinTech SaaS division from $15M to $100M in revenue, playing a key role in its successful PE acquisition and subsequent post-merger integration. He brings extensive expertise in go-to-market execution, process efficiency, and running high-performing client delivery organizations to maximize retention and scalable growth. He holds an MA in Statistics and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.
