  • New End-User Update Experience - We've heard your feedback that users want an easier, faster way to update their goals and are excited to reveal the new update experience. Learn more
  • Richer Update Overviews - We've added extra details to the way that Updates are displayed in the platform. Now when you see Updates, you'll see additional details like the author, the date of publish, whether it's been edited and how old it is. Learn more

Improvements

  • Drill-down Into What's Behind, At Risk, On Track, etc - These simple but powerful filters allow you to quickly filter groups of data by health status. We'll be rolling them out gradually to everywhere you see tables of data in Cascade - if there's a report that you like us to prioritize, drop us a message! Learn more
  • Strategy Progress at a Plan & Focus Area Level - See how your plans, teams or focus areas are performing during a particular period. A highly requested addition to help executives spot performance challenges. Highly requested by many customers - "How do we report on the progress of a plan?". Now you can! Learn more
  • Metrics Now Support Timezones - Until now, our Metrics library used a static timezone for all Metrics. Now, each Metric can have its own timezone set, which will be respected across the entire system, removing one complexity around timezones! Learn more
  • Hover Over Progress Bars for Extra Information - You'll see Progress Bars all over Cascade - they're key to understanding whether an element of your strategy is on track or not. Now, you can simply hover with your mouse over any Progress Bar in reports to see a popup of extra information including a chart and additional details about the target and progress! Learn more
  • Improvements to Report Printing - Printing Reports can be tricky sometimes - the fluidity of the screen experience doesn't always translate well to fixed sized bits of paper. We've made various improvements to how Reports will print and export. Learn more

Fixes

  • Major improvements to health calculations not running when goals tick over progress points, resulting in some goals with no updates remaining on track
  • Fixed issue where the objective summaries widget would insert unintended blank pages in PDF exports
  • Fixed issue where the last update date column was showing the last edited date of an update
  • Fixed issue where PDF exports would break in Adobe PDF Editor due to an update in the Chrome PDF exporter
  • Fixed Chart CSV export being blank
  • Fixed edge case causing metrics not to sync through to metrics using certain units.
  • Fixed issue where Metrics wouldn’t sum as expected when metric update dates didn’t align
  • Fixed issue with custom field labels duplicating
  • Fixed issue where last update would show in report, but would appear blank when printing
  • Fixed issue where Reminders would be sent to non-owners of actions
  • Fixed issue where Risk edits wouldn’t be saved
  • Fixed timezone issue where the Expected Progress column shows the wrong progress in reports
  • Improved behavior when exporting a strategy table with a title block above getting separated across pages
  • Reduced blank space between rows, widgets and pages in report exports
  • Improved deletion sync causing deleted goals to occasionally persist in report.
  • Fixed issue where particular manual metrics wouldn’t accept manual updates from the planner
  • Fixed timezone issue with milestones causing them to appear one day behind when the users timezone offset was large enough
  • Fixed issue where updates to % goals in My Work would sometimes result in an error
